The party is over for Lindsay Lohan.

The troubled actress appeared in court today after failing an alcohol test earlier this month. She was ordered to stop throwing parties at her Venice home while under house arrest. She was also told to limit her visitors to one at a time.

According to People.com, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner scolded Lohan for hosting a rooftop barbecue telling her she is guilty of extremely poor judgment. House arrest is akin to jail.

It was earlier reported that Lohan may land behind bars for failing the test.

Don'g give people a reason to hate you. Don't do stupid things, Sautner said.

The judge asked Lohan if she was ready to move on with her life and Lohan answered Yes, I am.

According to a report by TMZ, LiLo was tested twice last week. She allegedly tested positive for alcohol on one of the tests and negative on the other. She tested negative for drugs on both of the tests. The tests were allegedly administered right after she was photographed at her rooftop barbecue party.

Lohan was scheduled to have a 15-minute televised interview with Matt Lauer on the Today show this morning but she canceled last minute.

It is speculated that she canceled the interview due to her failed alcohol test.
