Ever since Lindsay Lohan admitted that she has plans of converting to Islam back in April, the 30-year-old actress has been spreading positive messages on her social media accounts every so often. Her latest effort came in this Thursday when she gave fans a practical advice about happiness.

Taking to Instagram and Twitter to give her millions of fans another meaningful message to live by, Lohan wrote: “Happiness is key in love and life and giving back.” To show to everyone what happiness means for her, the “Mean Girls” star shared a black and white video clip of her and her friends jamming to Jonas Blue’s “Perfect Strangers” while inside the car. In the clip, Lohan could be seen beaming after mouthing the words to the song and directing the camera toward her friends at the backseat of the car.

An hour earlier, Lohan shared via Instagram another black and white clip, which shows her and her friends playing some musical instruments. She also emphasized in this post how exploring what makes one happy is also important in life and love.

Lohan has been giving her followers on Twitter inspirational words to ponder on. Despite the positivity she is spreading on social media, Lohan was not spared from receiving heavy backlash when she asked her fans if they want a recount following Donald Trump’s win in the recently concluded presidential election.

However, Lohan did not let all the negative comments get the best of her by responding to them with a quotation from Martin Luther King, Jr. that read: “Peace cannot be kept by force; it can only be achieved by understanding. Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.”

When it comes to her stand on the political situation of the U.S. at present, Lohan seems to be hopeful. In a recent tweet, she even called out to Trump to also include in his plans a solution to the suffering of the people in Syria and Turkey.

Meanwhile, Lohan recently switched up her look by returning to her natural red hair color. The change is said to be due to the actress’ desire to play the role of Ariel in Disney’s live version of “The Little Mermaid. However, Digital Spy reports that the live-action still has a long way to go before it reaches its fruition. As of the moment, the only thing that’s certain about the project is Lin-Manuel Miranda’s involving in writing new songs for the revival of the Disney classic.
