Lohan was ordered to serve a 30-day sentence for violating her parole, but because of jail overcrowding, her stay was expected to be a brief one.

In addition to the 30-day jail sentence, Lohan was ordered to undergo therapy sessions, appear at monthly court hearings between December and March and to finish her community service hours -- more than 400 -- at the county morgue.

She also is not allowed to leave the country, and she can only leave California with the permission of her new probation officer.

The star's latest jail sentence was her fifth since being arrested twice for drunk driving in 2007, and it wasn't her shortest stay; in 2007, she served an 84-minute jail stint.
