In 2006, Kobe Bryant made history by scoring 81 points against the Toronto Raptors. This weekend, the Lakers star almost matched that total in just 15 minutes.

Bryant put up 68 points in just 15 minutes at a charity exhibition game in China. The game featured two 15 minute halves, the first one of which the shooting guard sat out. He played the entire second half and scored almost five points per minute.

The game featured numerous Chinese celebrities, including singers, actors and television personalities.

"I didn't want to disappoint them or the fans that had paid their hard earned money for a show so I took the challenge of really using the second half as a training session for my stamina," Bryant said. "They are not basketball players by any stretch of the imagination. I was just having fun with all of them and loved hearing the crowd enjoy the show we put on."

Bryant is the most popular NBA in China, even outselling Yao Ming in jersey sales when the center was an active player. He makes frequent visits to the country, in order ot build his brand in Asia.
