Johnny Depp is all set to hit the screens as a boozed-up journalist, Paul Kemp, in his upcoming film The Rum Diary this year.

The film, The Rum Diary, based on a novel by Hunter S. Thompson is set for October release.

Paul Kemp, a New York native, goes to Puerto Rico to work for a newspaper where he finds adventure, a blond vixen, Amber Heard, and, of course, lots of alcohol.
