LPGA Golfer Lexi Thompson Wants A Soldier As Her Prom Date [VIDEO]

If you are between the ages of 18 and 20 years old and, probably more importantly, also in the military, then emerging LPGA star Lexi Thompson wants you as a prom date.

Thompson turned into a professional golfer at the age 15. Now, at 17, she already has three professional wins on her resume.

The 17-year-old Thompson recently posted a YouTube video inviting young military men to make a bid to be her date for her prom at Coral Glades High School in Coral Springs, Fla. on May 18 by either sending their qualifications to her Facebook page or her Twitter account with the hashtag #LexiProm.

Thompson said she would even make things a little easier for the lucky winner and provide him with free transportation to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood Airport.

I'm looking for somebody special and somebody I can respect, said Thompson in her video, and that's why I'm choosing a guy from the service.

According to the Golf Channel, Thompson's sponsors will be financing a two-day trip to South Florida for the serviceman who wins the honor.
