Lucifer
How did Lucifer feel when he first arrived in Los Angeles? The Fox series returns on Jan. 16, 2017. Michael Courtney/Fox

Fox series “Lucifer” ended its Season 2 fall finale on a shocking note. Episode 10 revealed that Detective Chloe Decker (Lauren German) is no ordinary human. God asked Amenadiel (D. B. Woodside) to bless her parents when they couldn’t have children. Chloe is a miracle child and was purposely put on Lucifer’s (Tom Ellis) path.

Although the main mystery that fans are itching to solve is what Chloe really is, “Lucifer” also hasn’t solved one other crucial mystery: How did the devil feel when he first arrived on Earth? What did Lucifer think about humans when he first arrived in Los Angeles?

Fortunately, a flashback episode towards the end of “Lucifer” Season 2 will finally solve this question. The series’ showrunner Ildy Modrovich told TVLine, “We have four episodes at the very end [of Season 2] that are going to be completely standalone, and we plan to make one of them a flashback to Lucifer first arriving [to Los Angeles].” This would certainly be an interesting episode to watch! Hopefully, we will also get to know the events that led to the devil owning Lux.

However, when the series returns in 2017, Charlotte (Tricia Helfer), Lucifer and Amenadiel’s mother, will take advantage of the fact that Chloe is a miracle child in order to get back to heaven. She will manipulate the devil and Chloe to get close to each other so that she can secure a ticket home.

The promo of episode 11 shows Charlotte informing Lucifer’s trusty sidekick, Maze (Lesley-Ann Brandt), about Chloe’s true identity. It won’t be long before the devil also learns the truth about her.

The most alarming aspect of the upcoming episodes will be Chloe’s bleeding nose. It won’t stop bleeding and the trailer clearly suggests that her life may be in danger.

“Lucifer” returns with Season 2, episode 11 on Monday, Jan. 16, 2017 at 9 p.m. EST on Fox.
