Top LulzSec member Jake Davis, better known under the alias of Topiary, was granted conditional bail at City of Westminster Magistrates' Court, according to a Telegraph report. Davis was photographed outside the court sporting sunglasses and a denim shirt and was carrying a book, "Free radicals: The secret anarchy of science."

According to the prosecution, the 18-year-old hacker used a 16-machine network at his home in the Shetland Islands. Davis obtained bail on the conditions that he wears an electronic tag and does not access the Internet.

"Stay strong, @atopiary. We will continue this, as your last tweet is truth. We, the people, silent no more. #AntiSec," Anonymous tweeted moments ago linking to the news of Davis' obtaining bail.

LulsSec's lead member, believed to be the group's public persona, is facing five charges including criminal conspiracy.

Davis who tweeted, "You cannot arrest an idea," on July 22, was arrested by specialist cyber crime detectives from Scotland Yard on Wednesday.
