Madame Tussauds in London and New York Wednesday unveiled the waxed statue of Britain's royal couple Kate Middleton and Prince Williams, two weeks ahead of their first wedding anniversary.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge made their debut here the London museum of Madame Tussaud. Three versions of waxwork are put on display in London, Amsterdam and New York.

We are delighted to welcome the Duke and Duchess to Madame Tussauds London, Liz Edwards, the public relation manager at Madame Tussauds London, said.

The couple is featured in a row alongside the other royals, nearby The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, as well as Prince Harry and the Late Princess Diana.

In Amsterdam, Catherine is captured in a black and cream lace outfit by Alice Temperley, the same that she wore at the premiere of Warhorse. While, Prince William was dressed in an elegant two piece single breasted suit designed by Gieves and Hawkes.

The 30-year-old princes looked stunning in soothing pink Alexander McQueen floor-length gown from the BAFTA Brits to Watch Awards, accessorized with the replica of Duchess's sapphire and diamond engagement ring in the wax figure displayed in New York City.

In London, Kate is dressed in a blue Issa dress that she wore when she announced her engagement to Prince in 2010 and her beau sports the same kind of Gieves and Hawkes navy suit with Omega Seamaster watch, Madame Taussads said in a statement.

The duchess has been the most requested figure since their engagement so there is a huge appetite to see her, Edward said.

They are one of the most famous and best loved couples in the World and Catherine has rapidly become one of the most stylish women on the international stage, he added.

We know our guests are going to relish the opportunity to get up close to them and join them in celebrating their first wedding anniversary later this month.

The statue costs nearly $ 1, 96,747 (£150,000) each and took months to make.
