It looks like Maddie Ziegler may be returning to “Dance Moms” after all. In an announcement for an upcoming installment of “Girl Talk” the 12-year-old dancing prodigy is listed among the cast members set to film the live special.

“Come be our audience for a live taping of ‘Dance Moms’ Season 6 kickoff special — 'Girl Talk: No Moms Allowed' — meet the real stars of ‘Dance Moms’ — Maddie, Nia Kendall, Kalani, Mackenzie and JoJo!” reads the announcement for the sold out event, posted by Eventbrite. “You’ll get a chance to ask questions and listen in as the girls talk about boys, rivalries, their favorite dances, what’s coming up in Season 6 and of course, the only and only Miss Abby.”

While Maddie has yet to confirm she will be returning to the show for its 2015-16 installment, the filming announcement will give her fans some solace. In June, Maddie told MTV Australia she was unsure if she would return to the Lifetime show. “I’m not sure what’s going to happen for Season 6. I don’t know if I’m going to do it or not, so it just depends,” she said.

More recently Maddie told Teen Vogue she was looking forward to pursuing a career outside the “Dance Moms” realm. “I really want to focus on acting and even sing a little bit so I can be a triple threat," she said. "I definitely want to do a movie or a scripted TV show.”

The young dancer’s comments followed similar remarks from her coach and co-star, Abby Lee Miller. During an interview with Entertainment Tonight in May she revealed that she was unhappy with Lifetime, calling the network a “little in arrears on their payment plan.” Abby previously shared that the girls have made just $2,000 per episode since Season 5 while “somebody is making millions.”

Maddie’s potential return isn’t the only information we have about Season 6. According to one “Dance Moms” spoiler site, the ALDC (Abby Lee Dance Company) has already scheduled their first competition for the new season. The girls are expected to compete at Sheer Talent Special Edition Competition at the Alex Theater in Los Angeles on Saturday, Oct. 11.
