Madonna's Super Bowl Halftime Show 2012 was one of the most buzzed-about topics Monday morning. The Queen of Pop took to the Super Bowl stage Sunday Feb. 5 for the first time and rocked Lucas Oil Stadium with hits like Vogue, Music and Like a Prayer, backed by groups of Roman soldier, cheerleaders and choir vocalists.

The performance was nothing short of dazzling. Though some critics moaned over whether Madonna lip-synched or not, most applauded the Halftime Show and the 53-year-old pop superstar.

One undoubtedly eye-catching facet was the wardrobe. Madonna began the Super Bowl Halftime Show 2012 dressed in a black ensemble with gold accents including a cape, Roman solider armor skirt, boots and an elaborate headdress.

Next Madonna stripped down to a black mini skirt and thigh-high black boots to help LMFAO sing Sexy and I Know It. Then she grabbed some gold pom-poms and cheered with crimson-clad cheerleaders like Nicki Minaj and MIA. Madonna closed the show wearing glittering black choir robes with Cee-Lo Green by her side.

Of course the Give Me All Your Luvin singer's back-up dancers had equally glamorous outfits. From Roman solider metallics, to a leopard-printed headdress, to tasseled band outfits, Madonna's groupies were dressed for the part.

Ever the fashionista herself, Madge danced on a floor printed with the VOGUE logo while singing her classic hit Vogue to over 110 million viewers.

Anna Wintour and Conde Nastwere estatic at the Super Bowl apperance. We're so very grateful to Madonna to have been part of such a spectacular performance, Wintour told Women's Wear Daily. As Wintour said, We naturally expect a new audience of football fans.

Madonna shot some exclusive behind-the-scenes photos of her dressing room and sent the images to her label, Material Girl.
