Manchester United skipper Nemanja Vidic has been a surprise subject to many links away from the English champions, with Juventus being the latest club to be rumored to have an interest in him.

Last season, the Serbian defender signed a four-year contract extension, though many expected him to leave for Real Madrid. He went on to lift the Premiership title with United, as well as lead the club to the Champions League final for the third time in four years.

With links surfacing yet again this year, Vidic's agent has moved to quash rumors linking him to a move away from Old Trafford.

Silvano Martina, his agent, told Radio Sportiva, I talked to him about a hypothetical transfer and he replied, 'I am the captain of Manchester United, earning well, I've won almost everything...Why should I go to Italy right now, when Italian football is going through a turbulent period. He's a player that everyone wants.

This response removes any doubt about where his future lies - he stays where he is.
