Manchester United completed its U.S. tour with some very entertaining matches, particularly against Champions League Finalist Barcelona in Landover, Maryland.

In front of a record 81,807 at FedEx Field, Manchester United defeated Barcelona 2-1, who were playing without star forward Lionel Messi and midfielder Xavi, along with other notable names. The Red Devils were without such players such as Rio Ferdinand, Javier "El Chicharito" Hernandez, and Ryan Giggs.

It was an overall successful tour for Manchester United. Sir Alex Ferguson's squad dismantled their Major League Soccer opponents, who were emptying out their bench while in the midst of their regular season, which concludes in October.

The Red Devils had resounding victories over the Seattle Sounders (0-7), Chicago Fire (1-3), and MLS All-Stars (0-4).

Though Manchester United will start the season without injured Hernandez, the club looks in fine form to start the season on August 14th against West Bromwich.
