“Married at First Sight” star Jamie Otis’ life has certainly been dramatic enough for television, but her fans will get the inside scoop when they read her memoir. The reality star revealed that she will release a book in 2016.

Fans who have been following Otis on social media aren’t too surprised that a book is coming out. She previously said she was working on a writing project when a fan on Twitter asked her why she would marry someone without meeting him first. “That's the most common question we get,” she responded earlier this month. “I'm writing a book about it bc Its not a simple answer.”

Otis is a former “Bachelor” contestant and one of the first “Married at First Sight” participants. She married husband Doug Hehner in 2014 on the FYI reality show, and the two have been together ever since. However, marrying a stranger comes with its fair share of drama. Jamie has had to overcome trust issues and deal with her traumatic past. Viewers of the “Married at First Sight” spinoff, “Married at First Sight: The First Year,” know that Jamie and Doug have had their fair share of struggles recently, which includes everything from having feelings for an ex to disagreeing about having a baby.

The “Married at First Sight” wife had a little help writing from Deb Baer, who has a history of writing with reality stars. She helped Courtney Robertson from “The Bachelor” pen her memoir, “I Didn't Come Here to Make Friends: Confessions of a Reality Show Villain.”

This isn’t Otis’ first business venture outside television. Earlier this year, she started a jewelry line. The handmade collection features spoon-shaped necklaces, bracelets and rings. "MAFS" audiences know that she and Doug love to spoon when they cuddle.

Otis’ book doesn’t have a release date yet. “Married at First Sight: The First Year” Season 2 will return to FYI in 2016.
