The otherworldly beauty of 6' 3" Lucky Blue Smith, a 16-year-old Mormon male model from Utah, recalls River Phoenix and James Dean by way of David Bowie. Smith's icy blue eyes, white-dyed blond hair and stellar social media skills are bringing him the kind of fame some are likening to Justin Bieber, and he's shattering the cliche that no one cares about male models.

“I have never, in all my years as an agent, seen a response like this to a male model,” his agent Mimi Yapor of Next Models LA told the New York Post.

Although he's already done campaigns for Tommy Hilfiger, Adidas, and Levis, and walked the catwalk of 12 shows January for mega-names like Tom Ford and Bottega Veneta, according to Yahoo, it's Smith's social media skills that are bringing him masses of female fans still reeling from the departure of One Direction's Zayn Malik and needing a new teen idol to obsess over.

Lucky Blue Smith uses Instagram like the Pied Piper used his flute.

“PARIS Here is another chance to come say hi to me!" he wrote on Instagram Saturday. "Come meet at 4pm at the Fete Foraine du jardin Des Tuileries!! Come!!! I wanna meet you all.” His mother, Sheridan Smith, told Business of Fashion, “The crowd of girls was so big on this small street that they were literally blocking traffic. There must have been 75 of them," she said. "Two older girls took charge and led the fans through to an open square.”

The fans show up at Heathrow with signs, and outside of fashion shows like Fendi, in Paris. "He’s the only 16-year-old boy on the international fashion scene who has the power to make people show up in the flesh when he posts on social media," writes Isaac Hindin-Miller of Business of Fashion.

Smith already has 853,000 followers Instagram, and on average, according to Business of Fashion, his posts are liked by 30,000 to 40,000 people each. His Twitter followers near 100,000.

Just wait until his fans find out that he and his three older sisters, Pyper America, Daisy Clementine and Queen Starlie, are in a "surf-rock" band called The Atomics.
