Miley Cyrus and fiancé Liam Hemsworth have postponed their wedding, which was supposed to take place in June, indefinitely.

Amid reports that the couple is going through a rough patch, a source close to the young lovers told the upcoming issue of Life & Style, “There have been so many problems with them, they thought it was best to work out their issues before making such a big commitment.”

Hemsworth, 23, proposed to Cyrus, 20, last May with a 3.5-carat diamond ring. They began dating in 2009 after co-starring in the film “The Last Song.”

But there recently were rumors of cheating, as “Mad Men” star January Jones was photographed with Hemsworth in the back seat of an SUV at the Oscars on Feb. 24.

The Australian actor’s family seems equally unsure if the wedding will even happen. “I don’t know,” his sister-in-law Elsa Pataky told the publication. “If they get married, it would be nice to go [to their wedding].”

While Cyrus insists the pair is together, they have been spending more time apart lately. She partied all night recently with rapper-producer Pharell Williams for his 40th birthday in Miami while Hemsworth spent time alone in Los Angeles.

“They aren’t ready,” the source admits. “Their families are both concerned. They don’t want to see Miley and Liam get married and then get divorced. They’re very young to be getting married.”
