The 2017 MLB offseason is already off to a wild start with Japanese star Shohei Ohtani joining the Los Angeles Angels and the New York Yankees trading for Giancarlo Stanton. Those moves are only the beginning with the MLB Winter Meetings just getting underway Monday in Orlando.

Yu Darvish, Jake Arrieta, Mike Moustakas and Eric Hosmer lead the list of free agents that could sign big contracts within the next few weeks. According to the latest MLB trade rumors, a few big names that are currently under contract could also be changing teams before the calendar turns to 2018.

Here are three of the best players that have been involved in recent trade speculation:

Matt Harvey

A few years ago it would’ve been hard to believe that the New York Mets might explore trading Harvey, but the starting pitcher no longer seems to have a future as the team’s ace. The right-hander has struggled mightily over the last two seasons, battling through injuries and posting a 5.78 ERA in 36 games. According to The New York Daily News, the Mets have spoken to at least two teams about trading Harvey, though it’s hard to believe that New York would get much in return. Harvey is set to hit free agency after the 2018 season.

Kyle Schwarber

The Boston Red Sox could look to add a power hitter of their own after the Yankees acquired Stanton. ESPN.com’s Scott Lauber reported that Boston has interest in the Chicago Cubs outfielder. New York appeared to be a potential landing spot for Schwarber, though the Stanton trade almost certainly removed that possibility. The 24-year-old hit 30 home runs in 129 games for Chicago last season, and his defensive woes make him an ideal candidate for an AL team. The Cubs, however, might not be so eager to trade him.

Jackie Bradley Jr.

Perhaps acquiring someone like Schwarber would make it easier for Boston to deal Bradley. USA Today’s Bob Nightengale reported that the Red Sox have told other organizations that they are willing to trade the 27-year-old. With Mookie Betts and Andrew Benintendi already in the lineup, Bradley would become expendable if the Red Sox could add another a home-run hitting outfielder. Bradley hit .245 with 17 homers, 63 RBI and a .725 OPS last season.
