As the Moto G 2015’s release date nears, leaks and rumors surrounding the handset have doubled. But now, a new report confirms one of the most important aspects of any smartphone, its battery life.

The Moto G 2015 is expected to come with a modest 2,470 mAh battery unit. But now, according to Mobile Syrup, a price card of the device has cropped up. It does not reveal the actual price, but it says the battery in the Motorola handset can power through a full day. When comparing the Moto G with high-end devices like the Xperia Z series of handsets, however, Sony devices give two-day battery life. Nonetheless, for a midrange, budget-friendly handset, a 24-hour battery life is phenomenal.

The price card image of the third-generation Moto G 2015 also confirms that the carrier Telus will be offering it to Canadian customers, says Phone Arena. The handset will reportedly be launched on Tuesday. The third-generation Moto X 2015 and Motorola DROID smartphones will also be announced on the same day.

As for the key Moto G 2015 specifications, the smartphone will reportedly come as two variants. One of them will feature a 5.0-inch display and 1080p screen resolution, while the other variant will come with a 5.0-inch display and 720p screen resolution. The high-end 1080p variant is believed to be backed by 2 GB of RAM configuration and a solid 16 GB of internal storage capacity. The 720p model will house a modest 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of in-built storage capacity.

Both the Moto G 2015 models will come powered by either a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 or Snapdragon 610 processor. In addition, the models will be water-resistant and therefore, IPX7-certified. Both phones will sport a cool 13 MP rear-facing camera and a gracious 5 MP front-facing snapper for selfies. Motorola has not confirmed the Moto G 2015 specifications so far.
