A new Motorola flagship smartphone, codenamed as "Motorola Bounce," is expected to release by the end of this year. Rumors suggest that the device will be launched as Motorola Droid Turbo 2.

According to a tweet from famous leakster, @upleaks, the Motorola Bounce flagship will be released in December. It is expected to come with a shatterproof Quad HD display of 5.43 inches. Rumors also suggest that the chassis of the handset will be resistant to dust and water.

The Motorola Bounce will be powered by Snapdragon 810 MSM8994 chipset and 3 GB of RAM. It will be available in two internal storage editions of 32 GB and 64 GB. The rear camera of the Motorola Bounce will be of 21-megapixel and the front-facing camera will be of 5-megapixel. The device, which will be packed with a huge battery of 3,760 mAh capacity, is also expected to be launched with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, Techno Buffalo reported.

Meanwhile, the Moto X Style and the Moto X Play will be launched as the Moto X Pure Edition and the Droid Maxx 2, while the company is yet to launch a Verizon Wireless exclusive for U.S customers this year. Phandroid reported that an upgraded version of the Droid Turbo from 2014 is pegged to arrive with the best specs compared to any other Motorola smartphones of this year.

9to5Google reported that the purported image of the Droid Turbo 2 looks very similar to the Moto X Play. Also, the specs of the Motorola Bounce are better than that of the Moto X Style that features a Snapdragon 808 chipset and the Moto X Play that is powered by Snapdragon 615 SoC. According to an earlier report from Phandroid, the Motorola Droid Turbo 2 will sport an unbreakable which display is currently under construction. The device is expected to be launched with a price tag of about $600.
