Motorola is expected to launch the new Android 3.0 based Tablet at Consumer Electronics Show in early January and will probably be the first Tablet to run on Verizon's LTE (4G) network. Reuters

Motorola (MOT) is expected to launch 3 new Tablets in the first half of 2011, an analyst at Global Equities Research wrote in a note to clients.

Analyst Trip Chowdhry said Motorola will roll out a 10.1 inch tablet probably based on GingerBread (Android 2.3). Also, Motorola is expected to unveil a 10.1 inch tablet probably based on BeeHive (Android 3.0).

Google is expected to launch BeeHive in later part of first quarter of 2011.

Another 10.1 inch Tablet, which will probably be ruggedized, will also be based on Android 3.0, Chowdhry said.

Shares of Motorola closed Friday's regular trading session at $8.64 on the NYSE.
