A global bunch of musicians and tech giants have come forward for “I’m Gonna Be Your Friend", campaign to help Save the Children fight the famine in East Africa.
Drought and famine killed more than 29,000 children under the age of five and has left 640,000 children acutely malnourished. Out of the population of about 7.5 million, United Nations says, 3.2 million Somalis need immediate life-saving support.
Save the Children, the organization has put together a short video, directed by Kevin MacDonald, depicting the situation, which features the lyrics “I’m Gonna Be Your Friend”, to raise money and awareness for its philanthropic work.
