The search is on for Nakul Kalra, a 21-year-old University of Wisconsin-Madison student who went missing Saturday afternoon.

Kalra was last seen at the UW building Union South and hasn’t been heard from since 3 p.m. Saturday, the Wisconsin State Journal reported. Family and friends said it’s unusual for the student not to be in contact, according to Madison NBC affiliate WMTV.

Kalra was described as a 21-year-old male of South Asian descent, 5-foot-3 and 175 pounds with black hair and brown eyes, the State Journal reported. WMTV reported that Kalra may be wearing an orange satchel and carrying a laptop.

Anyone with knowledge of Kalra’s whereabouts was urged to call 911.
