Juliette Barnes is finally back on “Nashville” Season 3 full time, and she’s ready to bring the drama. The country starlet (Hayden Panettiere) has been stuck at home while pregnant and has really only been seen talking to Avery on the phone in her past few appearances. Panettiere needed time off to have her real-life baby, but it seems Juliette is still pregnant. Her baby shower won’t exactly be peaceful, according to the episode 17 synopsis.

Rayna (Connie Britton) will throw Juliette “a star-studded baby shower,” or at least she’ll try to. “When Rayna gets pulled into Sadie’s (Laura Benanti) drama instead of hosting, Juliette starts her own mama drama,” the synopsis teases. Juliette tends to go crazy when she doesn’t get what she wants on a normal day. Throw in pregnancy hormones and she’ll just get even angrier than usual. In the promo below, it looks like she might even go into labor while she's in a rage.

However, Rayna has a pretty good reason for getting involved with Sadie. In episode 16, the new Highway 65 artist may have killed her ex-husband Pete (Jay Wilkison). Whether he’s dead or alive, shooting someone will seriously impact Sadie. She’ll be comforted as she “finds a kindred spirit in an old friend.”

Even though Luke (Will Chase) found Sadie with a gun standing over Pete’s body, it’ll be back to work as usual for the country star. Luke will be competing with Bucky (David Alford) when they’re both “interested in signing rising singer-songwriter Ron Pope (who guest stars as himself),” according to the synopsis.

Elsewhere, Gunnar (Sam Palladio) will continue to be frustrated by his renewed feelings for Scarlett (Clare Bowen). “Gunnar is upset by Scarlett growing closer to Dr. Rand (Nick Jandl),” the synopsis teases. Will he tell her about his growing feelings or will he just get angry? Does Scarlett even return those feelings?
