The Duggars are coming back to TV for a full season of TLC’s “Jill & Jessa: Counting On.” But before the Arkansas family makes their comeback, the network has released several new portraits of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s children.
Discovery released never-before-seen images of the eldest Duggars on Wednesday. In the shots Jessa Seewald, 23, can be seen surrounded by six of her 19 siblings and her husband Ben. Her and Ben’s 3-month-old son, Spurgeon, is also visible in the images. While Jill Dillard is a lead on the show, the 24 year old is nowhere to be seen in the pictures. She is currently on an overseas mission trip with her husband Derick and son Israel.
This season will continue to follow Jessa and Jill’s journeys with motherhood and marriage. Unlike TLC’s first few episodes of the “19 Kids and Counting” spinoff, the forthcoming 2016 installments will focus heavily on Jill and Jessa’s siblings. Viewers will get to see Jana, Jinger, Joy-Anna, Joseph, Josiah and John-David “explore their own talents and passions" and possibly even a few courtship announcements.
“I really rather not answer that question,” Jinger says in the promo after a producer asks her who she thinks she enter into a courtship next. Twins Jana and John-David, and Joy-Anna, also refuse to dish on the topic.
After making cameos in “Counting On," Anna Duggar will make another appearance this season. Anna, who is the wife of disgraced reality star Josh Duggar, will join the female Duggars for a “much-needed girls’ trip.”
