Kim Kardashian came out of hiding Saturday to attend the funeral of Portwood Williams Sr., Kanye West’s grandfather, in Oklahoma. The 32-year-old reality star brought along their daughter North West, but made sure to hide her beneath a blanket when they left the funeral service.
Kardashian wore a black dress that showed off her new curves and a black lace cardigan. She missed her sister Kylie Jenner’s Sweet 16 birthday party to attend the funeral for Williams Sr., who passed away Aug. 10 at the age of 98. Prior to his passing, Williams Sr. met her back in February. He told The Daily News at the time, "She is beautiful - and she's just as sweet as she is beautiful - and that's what I liked about her! She was just down to earth, she's rich, and those kinds of people, they've got everything."
The media expected that Kardashian would make her big reveal at Jenner’s birthday bash, after she had been in hiding since giving birth June 15. But a source confirmed to People, "That's why they weren't at [sister] Kylie's birthday. They brought North, too. Her first trip."
While the curvaceous star has yet to lose all the baby weight, a source close to Kardashian, tells People that she has “lost a lot of the baby weight. She’s feeling great and looking forward to getting back in shape.” It is believed she is working out with celebrity trainer Tracey Anderson, who whipped older sister Khloe into shape. Kardashian also works out with A-list trainer Gunnar Peterson.
Meanwhile, West recently made a surprise appearance on Kris Jenner’s talk show. Jenner, Kardashian’s mother, reportedly asked West about his relationship with Kardashian, their daughter, and his disdain for paparrazi. The interview is set to air Aug. 23.
