Motorola has released a new teaser for its upcoming June 9 event. The teaser video shows the older Motorola RAZR phone that was launched in 2005.

Lenovo has added a new video teaser on the YouTube channel of Motorola Mobility. The video shows several kids using various features of Motorola RAZR such as texting, answering calls, snapping photos and so on. At the top-left corner, the video carries the June 9 date.

The rumor mill is now speculating that Lenovo may release a clam-shell smartphone like Motorola RAZR. Lenovo could be also hinting that its upcoming flagship would be as successful as RAZR.

On June 9, Lenovo will be holding its Lenovo Tech World is heavily pegged to unleash a Project Tango smartphone. This project is a collaborative work of Lenovo and Google that allows the device to produce 3D mapping by using various cameras and sensors. It will bring augmented reality to a smartphone for activities like gaming, indoor navigation and so on, Mobile Syrup reported.

Rumors are rife that the Project Tango smartphone will be a phablet device as it is likely to sport a 6.5-inch display. Its 4-megapixel rear camera is expected to house a 180-degree fish-eye lens whereas its frontal camera will support 120 degree shooting. It is also expected to include a depth camera.

Lenovo is also expected to announce successor smartphones for Moto X Style and Moto X Play from 2015. Speculations suggest that the successor phones will launch as Moto Z Style and Moto Z Play.

The live steam of the Lenovo’s event will be available on YouTube starting at 10 AM PDT. Lenovo has already announced its new Moto G series smartphones that includes Moto G4, Moto G4 Plus and Moto G4 Play. Lenovo is also expected to release a successor for Moto E in the near future.
