Snap Inc.’s Spectacles are glasses that have a built-in Snap video camera, says the company. Spectacles can record up to 10 seconds at a time when the wearer taps the button on the left-hand corner of the glasses. To add additional time, the wearer can simply tap again to record for 30 more seconds. To stop recording, press and hold the same button.

As a highlighted feature, Snapchat Spectacles can also connect to Snapchat.

Snapchat Spectacles will be available in the fall, and they will cost $129.99. Compared to Google Glass, which costs $1,500 when they first came out.

For now, Spiegel told the Wall Street Journal he sees Snap Inc’s new product as a toy. “It’s about us figuring out if it fits into people’s lives and seeing how they like it," Spiegel told the Journal.

We’re not exactly sure when Snapchat’s Spectacles will roll out, but the Information reported the glasses will be available through select retailers.

In the last few weeks, Spectacle ads have been on buildings all over the U.S. and have been spotted internationally. Images have also been shared on Twitter, especially through Snap’s Spectacles Twitter account.
