Nexus 5 Google Play Store

As of Wednesday, the Nexus 5 is now available at T-Mobile stores nationwide, completing the introduction of the Nexus 5 to the U.S. market. Devices purchased through online pre-order are now also beginning to ship.

In addition to T-Mobile, the Nexus 5 is also available at Sprint, Best Buy, Amazon, Radio Shack, and can also be bought through the Google Play Store.

Given the range of sellers, there are varying prices for the Google’s 2013 flagship smartphone. Here’s a rundown of availability and pricing for the Nexus 5.

T-Mobile

The Nexus 5 is available at T-Mobile online and in stores. T-Mobile is offering the 16GB Nexus 5 for $449.99, which is broken down by its UNcarrier plan into a $42 down payment and monthly payments of $17 over 24 months. T-Mobile only offers the black Nexus 5 color option.

T-Mobile will also power the 16GB or 32GB Nexus 5 handsets purchased from the Google Play Store.

Sprint

The Nexus 5 is available at Sprint online and in stores. Sprint is currently offering the 16GB Nexus 5 for 49.99 with a two-year contract and $449.99 off-contract. Sprint offers both black and white Nexus 5 color options.

Sprint will also power the 16GB or 32GB Nexus 5 handsets purchased from the Google Play Store. Customers should keep in mind that they will require a Sprint SIM card for Nexus 5 handsets purchased from the Google Play Store.

Best Buy

The Nexus 5 is available at Best Buy online and in stores. Best Buy is offering the Sprint powered 16GB Nexus 5 for $149.99 with a two-year contract and $449.99 off-contract. Best Buy offers both black and white Nexus 5 color options.

Radio Shack

The Nexus 5 is available at Radio Shack online and in stores. Radio shack is offering the Sprint-powered 16GB Nexus 5 for 49.99 with two-year contract and $539.99 off-contract. Radio Shack only offers the black Nexus 5 color option.

Amazon

The Nexus 5 is available at Amazon online. Many Amazon sellers are offering the unlocked Nexus 5 for up to $438.87 for the 16GB model and up to $485.00 for the 32GB model. The Sprint-powered 16GB Nexus 5 is available for $49.99 with a two-year contact and $499.99 off-contract. Amazon offers both black and white Nexus 5 color options depending on the seller.

Google Play Store

The Nexus 5 is available at Google Play Store online. The Google Play Store is offering the 16GB and 32GB Nexus 5 unlocked and off-contract for $349.00 and $399.00, respectively. The Google Play Store offers both black and white Nexus 5 color options. Shipping times for the Nexus 5 are currently estimated at three to four weeks.

About The Nexus 5

The Nexus 5 features a 4.95-inch 1920x1080 Full HD IPS display protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3, a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset with a Krait 400 processor, and Adreno 330 GPU, 2GB RAM and 16GB or 32GB internal storage options.

The Nexus 5 also features 8-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), autofocus and LED flash, and a 1.3-megapixel front camera, as well as connectivity including NFC, A-GPS, GLONASS, microUSB, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, and support on LTE, 3G and GSM networks.

In addition to being powered by a 2300 mAh non-removable battery with wireless charging capability, the Nexus 5 runs the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system. The Nexus 5 is 4.59 oz (130 g) in weight, with dimensions of 69.17 x 137.84 x 8.59 mm, and comes in white and black color options. It includes ports and connectors such as microUSB, SlimPort enabled, 3.5mm stereo audio jack, Dual microphones, Ceramic power and volume buttons.
