Peyton Manning appears to finally be nearing a decision.

He has eliminated two teams in the past 24 hours, informing the Miami Dolphins that he will not sign with them according to Jeff Flynn of the NFL Network.

There are also reports out of Denver that Manning has rejected the offers from the Arizona Cardinals.

The list seems to be narrowed down to Tennessee and Denver as of today. Tennessee owner Bud Adams has told the media that he has offered Manning a contract for life. That offer is undoubtedly attractive to Manning who played his college ball at the University of Tennessee.

The other team with the inside track is Denver. Denver's Vice President of Football Operations John Elway and select members of the Broncos staff are traveling to Duke University today to watch Manning throw.

That workout is extremely significant in determining his future as Manning has not thrown for any team since his injury. If all goes well with the workout today, it could put Denver in the lead in any negotiations with Manning.
