Nick Cannon Happy For Ex-Wife Mariah Carey, James Packer: Source

Mariah Carey's ex-husband Nick Cannon has no hard feeling toward her and wants the best for her and the kids. The 34-year-old singer also is happy that Carey has found love with new beau James Packer, says a source who spoke with E! News.

Cannon is “actually very happy” to see his ex-wife leaving her past and “moving forward in her romantic life and enjoying the company of Packer,” the source said. The ex-couple, who have two kids together, are on “better terms” these days, the source told the website.

“Mariah is in really good spirits and there has not been arguments with them for sometime now," the source close to the “Hero” singer told E! "Nick is doing really well in his personal life and he just wants Mariah to be happy. He feels as long as his kids are in good hands, he will support any decision Mariah makes," the source said.

Cannon also reportedly believes that Carey will always be in his life because of the kids -- and this fact will never change. “It makes Nick happy that Mariah is in a great place in her life between work and love. He will always love her and support her, no matter what happened between their relationship in the past,” the source added.

Meanwhile, Carey is enjoying her romantic life with Packer and was recently spotted having a cozy time with the Australian businessman. Various websites published photos of a bikini-clad Carey kissing and hugging Packer as the couple enjoyed time in Ibiza, Spain, on a private yacht. The singer was surrounded by her close friends and kids Moroccan and Monroe on the holiday.

The website added that the couple is not thinking about marriage yet. “She's enjoying his company. … This trip is a chance for her to really get to know him," the source said.

Meanwhile, Cannon has reportedly broken up with his girlfriend, model and actress Jessica White. "Nick Cannon and Jessica White are kaput -- for now,” the New York Daily News writes, adding that the singer has temporarily moved to New York City while White is in Los Angeles.
