Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer go head-to-head on Friday in the most eagerly awaited match of the French Open so far. The pair are meeting in the semi-finals at Roland Garros for the second consecutive year, with Federer looking for a repeat of his victory twelve months ago.

The focus of tennis fans across the globe will be on Court Philippe Chatrier to see who comes out on top and progress to a potential final with tournament favorite Rafael Nadal. But, while the play promises to be of the most captivating order, eyes will also be drawn to both competitor's boxes in the stands.

Especially at Roland Garros where the producers love to break-up the action on the court with shots of attractive females away from the clay, expect there to be plenty of camera time for Novak Djokovic's girlfriend, Jelena Ristic, and Roger Federer's wife, Mirka.

It is Mirka who will likely be more familiar to tennis fans, having been an almost constant presence courtside for Roger Federer's matches since he rose to world-wide prominence with his maiden grand slam at Wimbledon in 2003.

Born Miroslava Varinec, the now Mrs. Federer was once a tennis pro herself. Indeed, it was while competing at the Sydney Olympics for Switzerland in 2000 that the pair met.

A top 100 player, Mirka, 34, was forced to retire in 2002 with a foot injury, before becoming Federer's public-relations manager. The two married in 2009, before welcoming twin girls into the world later that year.

Other than her eye-catching appearances at Djokovic's matches, less is known about Jelena Ristic. The pair began dating in 2005 when Djokovic first broke onto the main tour.

Having reportedly attained a bachelor's degree in finance from Bocconi University in Milan, Ristic moved with Djokovic to Monaco to work for a major oil and energy operator.
