The Obama's released Friday their official first family portrait shot by Annie Liebovitz, well known for taking photos of some of the world's most famous people.

The family portrait of President Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama and daughters Sasha and Malia Obama was taken on September 1 in the White House's Green Room.

Leibovitz has frequented the White House in the last few months for a series of portraits for Vanity Fair.
