President Barack Obama will keep using a Blackberry Device despite security concerns from the U.S. Secret Service and National Security Agency, spokesman Robert Gibbs said, according to Bloomberg.

Gibbs would not give details of the arrangements to keep using the device.

Beyond the possibility that spies could intercept communications on wireless devices, there are political reasons for restraining its use.

A presidential records law requires that White House documents be released to the public after a certain period of time.
