‘Unexpected’ guests named at the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton Reuters

St. James' Palace, London announced the launch of the official Royal Wedding website celebrating the marriage of Prince William and Miss Catherine Middleton.

The marriage which is scheduled to take place on April 29, 2011has been garnering a lot of attention. The website, www.officialroyalwedding2011.org, has been launched to provide all the required details to anyone interested in the forthcoming Royal Wedding.

The website will bring together all of the official social media around the event, including the Clarence House and Buckingham Palace Flickr account, Twitter, The Royal Channel on YouTube and the British Monarchy Facebook page, providing direct easy access to all channels of communication.

The statement issued by the Prince of Wales' official site also informed that the new website will be the first place where details of Middleton's wedding dress will be revealed for the first time.

Hosted by Google App Engine, the website was launched on the same day as DirectGov's specific Royal Wedding page www.direct.gov.uk/RoyalWedding, which contains practical information for members of the public.
