When we last left our Savior in “Once Upon a Time” she was stuck in an alternate universe with Regina, and they had just come upon Robin Hood. Things will pick up right where they left off in Sunday’s midseason premiere of the ABC series.

The network’s synopsis for “Tougher Than the Rest,” which serves as Season 6, episode 11, reveals Emma (Jennifer Morrison) will learn how to change her fate after returning to home to Storybooke. How she gets there remains to be seen, however, ABC has released a photo of August (Eion Bailey). Could he be the one to offer her the guidance she needs?

Elsewhere, Regina (Lana Parrilla) will struggle with the idea that “an alternate world presents a better outcome.” It was clear in the finale that Robin (Sean Maguire) didn’t know her. Could she be willing to overlook that tiny detail to get her happily ever after?

While a new villain on the loose, episode 11 will also see Hook (Colin O'Donoghue) and David (Josh Dallas) try to stop Gideon (Giles Matthey) from “confronting Emma.” With Snow (Ginnifer Goodwin) still in a sleeping curse, it will be up to them to save the day.

Elsewhere, Gideon will make a “startling confession” to his parents Belle (Emilie de Ravin) and Mr. Gold (Robert Carlyle) about his whereabouts when he was missing. When fans last saw Gideon he had been taken away by Gold’s evil mother, the Black Fairy.

The midseason premiere of “Once Upon a Time” airs Sunday, March 5, at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
