Don’t remember where “Once Upon a Time” left off in Season 3? Fret not, because ABC will be airing a special before the Season 4 premiere in order to get old and new fans caught up on the magical drama in Storybrooke.

“Once Upon a Time: Storybrooke Has Frozen Over” will air on Sept. 28, at 7 p.m. EDT, setting viewers up for the highly anticipated Season 4 premiere, “A Tale of Two Sisters.” The ABC special will look back at everything from breaking the magical curse placed on the fairytale characters, the battle with Peter Pan in Neverland, and the trouble that the Wicked Witch of the West started with Regina, Mary Margaret, Emma, David and the others. But more importantly, the “Storybrooke Has Frozen Over” special will look at the arrival of Elsa, Disney’s “Frozen” Ice Queen from Arendelle.

Series co-creators and executive producers Eddy Kitsis and Adam Horowitz will be featured in the “Once Upon a Time” special to discuss scenes from the previous season, as well as give some insight to the chilly drama in store for 2014. So, what can fans expect from the new season? We’re breaking down the juicy new plot lines for Season 4:

Elsa’s History

Viewers already know about Elsa, but her arrival will come as a surprise to the Storybrooke residents. The new season will explore Elsa’s life in the Enchanted Forest of the past – including what happened to her sister, Anna, and how Elsa came to be trapped in Rumplestiltskin’s dungeon.

Regina’s Twist

Regina turned over a new leaf at the end of Season 3, finding happiness with Robin Hood. However the finale introduced a major game changer when Emma brought Robin Hood’s dead wife, Marian, to Storybrooke. Has Regina truly changed? Or will she resort back to her old tricks in order to get even with Emma?

Belle And Rumple’s Fairytale Ending

Belle might be in wedded bliss with Rumple, but she doesn’t know that her new hubby is hiding a dark secret. Will Belle find out that Rumple is still the master of the dagger? And what will happen if she does?

Emma And Hook’s New Romance

Emma and Hook may have ended up on a good note in the Season 3 finale of “Once Upon a Time,” but that doesn’t mean that their relationship will stay that way. Season 4 will be the ultimate test if the pair can truly take their relationship to the next level.

Parenthood For Mary Margaret And David

Mary Margaret and David may be ecstatic over the birth of Prince Neal, however they’re still haunted over losing Emma’s childhood. The new parents will have to move past their sadness over losing Emma to the curse in order to raise Prince Neal.

Henry’s Battle

Henry has faced a lot during the past three seasons – from being poisoned by an apple to switching bodies with Peter Pan. But that will all pale in comparison to the upcoming inner battle he has ahead of him. Emma’s light runs through him, but so does Rumplestiltskin’s darkness – and the light and darkness will test him in Season 4.

A Familiar Yet New Face

Will Scarlet, a former member of Robin Hood’s Merry Men, will make his way to Storybrooke from “Once Upon a Time in Wonderland.” But what does Will Scarlet want in Storybrooke?
