The OnePlus 2 was officially unveiled on Monday, and the Moto X Style was showcased to the world on Tuesday. Both the handsets carry impressive flagship specs, but there are certain features that make the Moto X Style more appealing than its counterpart.
According to Phone Arena, the Moto X Style is a better smartphone than the OnePlus 2 in following aspects:
The OnePlus 2 sports a 5.5-inch full HD display and it offers a screen-to-body ratio of 73.27 percent. On the other hand, Moto X Style is a larger device with 5.7-inch Quad HD display. It delivers a screen-to-body ratio of 76.37 percent.
Excels In Camera Department
If the photographic ability of the handset is to be determined on the number of megapixels, the Moto X Style’s 21 MP can be deemed better than 13 MP camera of OnePlus 2. But the OnePlus One comes with Optical Image Stabilization feature that is absent on Moto X Style.
The 5 MP front-facing camera on the Moto X Style comes with LED flash. The 5 MP selfie shooter lacks an LED flash.
MicroSD Storage And Internal Storage
The OnePlus 2 is available in two internal storage variants, 16 GB and 64 GB. There is no microSD slot available on the device.
The Moto X Style is available in three inbuilt storage versions of 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB. Users can add up to 128 GB of microSD on its external storage.
It takes around three hours to completely charge the 3,300 mAh non-removable battery of OnePlus 2. On the other side, the Moto X Style with its 3,000 mAh non-removable battery is dubbed as the fastest-charging smartphone in the world. GSM Arena’s listing for Moto X Style states that it takes 15 minutes to charge 34 percent of the battery.
Splash And Dust Resistant
With IP52 certification onboard, the Moto X Style is resistant to contact with dust and liquid splashes. The OnePlus 2 lacks such a feature.
Moto Maker Customization
Buyers can customize features like rear plates, back cover and accent colors of the Moto X Style before purchasing it through the Moto Maker customization feature. The OnePlus 2 also comes with options for different color back panels. However, the customization options are not as vast as the Moto X Style offers.
The OnePlus 2 does not come with an Near-Field Communication chip on the device. However, the Moto X Style comes with a NFC chip to take advantage of NFC-related capabilities and Android Pay.
