1. Who dumped ashes all over Ryan Seacrest?

That would be Sacha Baron Cohen, who was actually nominated in 2006 for his work on the screenplay for Borat. The Hugo star was promoting his controversial new film The Dictator, in which he plays a Saddam Hussein like ruler. Earlier in the week, the star was allegedly banned from attending the ceremony as the character but it seems that the Academy caved. Of course they probably regretted the decision after he spilled the ashes of Kim Jong II on Ryan Seacrest. Cohen was ushered away by security as Seacrest dusted himself off with a look of horror. The actor tried to alley the situation by instructing: If someone asks what you are wearing, tell them Kim Jong Il.

2. Why did the stars of Bridesmaids start drinking while presenting?

At the SAG awards earlier this year, Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolf, and Melissa McCarthy played a hilarious drinking game while presenting. Anytime the name Scorsese (referring to Martin Scorsese) was said, they would have to drink. The game continued at the Oscars when someone from the audience yelled the famed director's last name and Melissa McCarthy and Rose Byrne whipped out some mini bottles of alcohol and drank.

3. What was with Angelina Jolie's Leg?

It's unclear why Jolie felt the need to constantly expose her leg but she seemed to find presenting Best Screenplay terribly erotic. Jolie slithered as she read the list of nominees. Her leg now has a twitter account @AngiesRightLeg. The pose is now being called The Angelina and morning talk shows, like the Today show attempted to recreate her leg exposing stance.
