Party with Celebrities, Models: Where to Go Out in NYC for Fashion Week 2012

New York Fashion Week 2012 begins on Thursday, Feb. 9, as the fashion world gears up to show all the fall 2012 collections. The only thing hotter than the designs is the glitterati that follow them.

Models will not be the only beautiful ones fluttering around New York Fashion Week 2012. Celebrities, fashion journalists, stylists and fashion aficionados will put their best feet forward for the biggest event of the season.

Want to party with celebrities and models? Here is where you need to be in New York City during Fashion Week 2012.

Lincoln Center

Lincoln Center will be the epicenter of fashion for New York Fashion Week 2012. It is the main venue for most of the top Fall 2012 shows. Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York City will take place Feb. 9 through Feb. 16 at Lincoln Center. The Empire Hotel

Multiple events will be held at the Empire Hotel during New York Fashion Week, located right across the street from Lincoln Center on 63rd and Columbus. The rooftop will be the venue for multiple Fall 2012 collection unveilings. On Feb. 11, the Fashion Week Party will be held on the rooftop to celebrate New York's fashion fete. The Metropolitan Pavilion

Situated on 18th Street between 6th and 7th, the Metropolitan Pavilion will be a hotspot during New York Fashion Week. The venue will host STYLE360's clients' shows, including bebeBLACK and EMU Australia. The chic venue, with its modern interior design, tropical hues and smooth details, will surely attract some of the hottest celebs.

The Standard Hotel

Always a guaranteed good time, the Standard Hotel is a New York City landmark. During Fashion Week, the The Standard, East Village at 25 Cooper Square will host Tavi Gevinson's singing debut before midnight on Feb. 12. In the meantime, there will be a plethora of celebs partying the nights away atop the Standard at the Boom Boom Room. Even if you are not on any guest lists, you can still sip cocktails until 10 p.m., feeling like part of the glitterati. After 10 p.m., though, you will be kicked out and the likes of Lindsay Lohan just may take your spot.
