Good news, Little Mix fans: the British girl group is not breaking up. A rep for the girls confirmed that the quartet will continue making music together for many years to come.

Rumors of a rift between the members of Little Mix surfaced when on Monday, March 13, Perrie Edwards shared a photo of the group from the 2017 Kids’ Choice Awards on her Instagram. The Little Mix members were all present when the snapshot was taken, but Edwards cropped Jesy Nelson out of the pic because the latter allegedly didn’t like the photo.

However, hours later, Nelson posted the same photo that triggered the rumors that the two Little Mix members were feuding. “Oh look, Perrie, at least Jesy doesn't cut you out of her photos. Jess needs a bit more respect than what all of you treat her,” one fan commented on Nelson’s post.

The alleged rift between Nelson and Edwards made many of their fans concerned about the future of Little Mix. However, their representative assured fans that there was nothing to worry about.

“This is absolute nonsense created out of nothing,” Little Mix’s representative told OK! Magazine. “This is absolute nonsense created out of nothing.”

The alleged feud between Nelson and Edwards reportedly started when the group was interviewed backstage after winning no. 1 single for their hit song, “Shout Out To My Ex.” Leigh-Anne Pinnock joked that they wanted to thank their exes for their victory. But Nelson then added a message for Zayn Malik, who was previously engaged to Edwards, saying, “Shout out to ZM!”

Edwards was apparently mortified with Nelson’s remark. “Shut up! Stop! I’m going to kill you,” she said, The Sun noted. Edwards reportedly stopped talking about her ex-fiancé Zayn Malik after he dumped her by text almost two years ago.

The lyrics of Little Mix’s “Shout Out To My Ex” were reportedly inspired by Edwards and Malik’s split. The ex-couple's romance began when One Direction performed on “The X Factor U.K.” Season 8, which Edward’s group won. The exes were in a relationship for four years and were even engaged for two years, Cosmopolitan reported.
