Avid photographer Kiend Lam encapsulated his year-long journey around the world in this compelling time-lapse video which is less than five minutes long.

The video, titled Time is Nothing - A Journey Around The World,” shows Lam covering 17 countries over a course of 343 days.

This astonishing compilation of 6237 shots flows seamlessly to the tunes of a wonderful score Places and Faces composed by Kien's brother William Lam.

After I quit my job last year, I packed a bag, grabbed my camera and bought a one way ticket to London. 17 countries later, I put together this time lapse video of the many amazing places I came across, the photographer said on his blog.

The photographer describes his experience of making the video on kienlam.net.
