Game Freak and The Pokémon Company already released “Pokémon Sun” and “Pokémon Moon” last Nov. 18, and yet fans still can’t get enough of the Nintendo 3DS titles. Aside from the Alola forms and new generation of Pokémon, creatures from the previous generations are also part of the games. One of which is the biggest pocket monster as per the Pokédex, Wailord.

If you are a fan or if you’ve been intrigued by this Water-type Pokémon, you shouldn’t sleep on this creature while playing “Pokémon Sun and Moon.” The beast that is based on the blue whale has an interesting Z-Move called Supersonic Skystrike. Just check out this gif and watch how Wailord crushes Mudbray after descending from the sky.

According to Bulbapedia, Supersonic Skystrike is a damage-dealing Flying-type Z-Move. The official description of the attack reads: “The user soars up with its Z-Power and plummets toward the target at full speed. The power varies, depending on the original move.”

What new players should know about this Z-Move is it is not exclusive to Wailord only. Any Pokémon that has a Flying-type move can unleash this attack as long as it has a Flyinium Z stone, while its Trainer has a Flyinium Z on its Z-Ring.

Wailord is the evolved form of Wailmer once the latter has reached level 40. In “Pokémon Sun and Moon,” Trainers who want to have a Wailord should catch a Wailmer first. Wailmer is found in the fourth island, called Poni Island. Watch the video below to find out where to locate Wailmer.

Despite its exciting Z-Move, loyal fans of the Pokémon franchise may be disappointed in Wailord’s appearance in “Pokémon Sun and Moon.” Apparently, although Wailord is known to be the biggest Pokémon, its real size is not showcased in the new games. As per Kotaku, even though it is understandable why Wailord was downscaled to fit the screen during battles, this just disabled the games to capture the sheer magnificence of the beast.
