Yum! plans to buy China's 'Little Sheep' chain

Dow Chemical Co. (NYSE:DOW) shares gained 3.71 percent to $38.00 in pre-market trading session on Thursday, following better-than-expected fourth quarter earnings. Its fourth quarter net income rose to $426 million or $0.37 per share, compared with $87 million or $0.08 cents per share in the same quarter a year-ago, while analysts’ expected net profit of $0.37 per share.

GameStop Corp. (NYSE:GME) shares gained 3.68 percent to $ 20.55 in pre-market trading session. The stock has a 52 week low of $17.12 and 52 week high of $25.75 and has $3.0 billion market capitalization.

Yum Brands Inc. (NYSE:YUM) shares gained 3.39 percent to $49.35 in pre-market trading session as the company said on late Thursday that it earned $274 million or $0.56 per share, up from $216 million or $0.45 per share in the same last year. Total revenue rose to $3.56 billion from $3.36 billion.

CF Industries Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:CF) shares advanced 2 percent to $147.89 in pre-market trading session. The company declared Quarterly Dividend Of $0.10 per share on its common stock, which will be payable on March 1, 2011 to stockholders of record as of February 14, 2011.

Micron Technology Inc. (NASDAQ:MU) shares gained 1.01 percent to $11.00 in pre-market trading session.

Merck & Co Inc. (NYSE:MRK) shares declined 1.71 percent to $33.24 in pre-market trading session. The company reported fourth quarter net loss of $531 million or $0.17 per share compared to a net profit of $6.49 billion or $2.35 per share in the same period last year.

Cvs Caremark Corp. (NYSE:CV) shares declined 1.59 percent to $34.10 in pre-market trading session. The company expects fiscal 2011 earnings in the range of $2.72 to $2.82 per share against analysts’ estimation of $2.88 per share.
