Tottenham Hotspur Vs Arsenal, Sunday 2 October, 1500 GMT

The second of the two major derbies of the weekend will have London divided as Arsenal travel to Tottenham in Sunday's final game.

Arsenal are slowly managing to string a few victories together, after a disastrous opening month of the season, and have won their last three matches on the trot. Although Blackburn Rovers handed them a shocker a fortnight back, victories over Shrewsbury Town in the Carling Cup, Bolton in the league and Olympiakos in the Champions Leauge is likely to have restored some confidence to the Gunners.

After the departures of key midfield men in Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri, and the injury to Jack Wilshere, Arsene Wenger has been without the spine of his team. New signing Mikel Arteta and young star Aaron Ramsey have had to bed into the transition period without any experience to guide them and that, maybe, can be pointed as a reason for their troubles.

The match also coincides with Arsene Wenger's fifteenth anniversary as Arsenal manager. However, whether he can mark the achievement with a win is open to debate.

Spurs have put behind their massive losses to the Manchester sides, in their first two games of the season, behind them as they have strung together a run of three wins in three, including a 4-0 mauling of Liverpool.

Spurs also boast a powerful bunch of attackers, with Luka Modric back to his best, Rafael Van der Vart returning from injury and former-Gunner Emmanuel Adebayor impressing thus far as a Spurs player. The pace of Gareth Bale and Aaron Lennon could leave Arsenal behind and this one really looks like a home win, albeit a hard-fought one.

Team News

Tottenham will be without William Gallas, Michael Dawson and Tom Huddlestone who are all injured. However, Steven Pienaar has recovered from a groin injury and could play his first game of the season.

Arsenal are expecting Theo Walcott to recover in time for the game while Gervinho, Laurent Koscielny and Yossi Benayoun face late fitness tests. Defender Johan Djourou is out though.

Prediction - Tottenham 2-1 Arsenal
