The YouTube effort of a mash-up of President Obama's speeches, showing him singing Born This Way, a song by American singer Lady Gaga, has become a viral hit on the Internet. The meticulously mixed video has already garnered nearly 10,000 likes within a day of uploading and is currently among the most trending videos on YouTube.

Lady Gaga, an extremely vocal advocate of gay rights, met with the President at a fundraiser in September, 2011. The pop diva, known for her outlandish makeovers, asked the President a question during the Q&A session. She first thanked the president for what he had accomplished and then appealed for an anti-bullying law in schools. Before the dinner, Gaga and Obama reportedly spoke for two minutes.

The President earlier kept one of his key campaign promises, by signing the Don't Ask, Don't Tell Repeal Act of 2010, a bill that provided for the repeal of the Don't Ask, Don't Tell policy of 1993 that prevented gay and lesbian people from serving openly in the U.S. Armed Forces.
