Despite rumors suggesting Prince William and Prince Harry’s relationship has experienced an ongoing rift, a royal expert claims the brothers will eventually be forced to get over their differences.

Since Harry married Meghan Markle in 2018, reports have suggested the siblings’ relationship has become strained due to the differences in their futures. While the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expected to take on senior responsibilities, William and Kate Middleton will focus on becoming the future King and Queen of the United Kingdom.

According to Us Weekly, Princess Diana’s biographer, Andrew Morton, told Royals Monthly that Prince William and Prince Harry have an unbreakable bond despite the tension in their relationship. At the time of Diana’s death, William was 15 years old, and Hary was 12 years old.

“Nobody apart from each other knows exactly — not even their father — what’s gone on in their heads, and their hearts for the last 20-odd years. They both experienced the loss of their mother. The only people that they could trust to talk about it in a candid way was each of them,” Morton explained.

Although the royal expert has acknowledged the brothers’ rumored feud, he claimed that there was always a plan in place that involved splitting up Prince Harry and Prince William’s royal households. “It was always the case that when Prince Harry married, he would have his own household, and his own home,” Morton shared.

Royal fans were initially shocked the brothers planned to work separately after years of collaborating on various projects. “It is traditional that when you marry, you get your own place, and have your own household with your own private secretary, equerry [and] other court functionaries,” Morton revealed.

“They’re very, very close … they’re also very competitive — and always have been,” he added.

During the documentary, “Harry & Meghan: An African Journey,” the Duke of Sussex revealed that although he and Prince William have had busy schedules, he insisted that they will always remain supportive of one another.
