Quake in China's Yunnan Province injures 300, destroys 10,000 homes: report
An earthquake with a magnitude of 6 struck Guantum about 125 miles from Kunming, the capital of China's Yunnan province, injuring 300 people and destroying 10,000 homes, state media Xinhua News Agency reported.
The report said 30,000 buildings were damaged, with 30 severe injuries but no initial reports of death, according to Bloomberg.
The quake was of a 5.7 magnitude, the U.S. geological service said today, according to Agence France Presse.
