Alex Parrish never seems to suffer more than a few cuts and bruises on “Quantico,” but her portrayer Priyanka Chopra has to deal with more serious injuries. While portraying the FBI agent, Chopra was involved in a stunt that went wrong and ended up in the hospital. However, she has let fans know that she’ll be alright.

Neither ABC nor Chopra, 34, have released specific details on what happened. However, Variety reports that Chopra fell and hit her head while on set in New York. She suffered a concussion and went to the emergency room Thursday. She was released later that night, but she did not return to set Friday.

During her weekend of recuperation, the actress thanked fans for their messages of support.

Chopra promises to get back to work as soon as she is healthy. “Quantico” Season 2 did not shut down production, and the actress is expected to return to set later this week.

Her co-star Yasmine Al Massri, who plays twins Raina and Nimah, posted a video with fans’ well wishes for the leading lady. In the clip, Al Massri calls the incident “a small accident.”

Though Chopra’s stunt somehow went wrong, the actress is generally pretty confident in her abilities during fight scenes. In October, she told International Business Times about how comfortable she is with action sequences.

“I’ve done a lot of action movies over the years, and I do my own stunts,” the Indian actress said. “I’m very agile by nature anyway. So I do a rehearsal because it’s like choreography. It’s like dancing.”

Audiences don’t have to wait long for the “Baywatch” star to return to the small screen. “Quantico” Season 2 returns Monday, Jan. 23 at 10 p.m. EST on ABC.
