Rachel Faulkner teased “Ride Along 2” and also recounted what it was like to work on TV's “Hillbilly Horror Show” in an exclusive interview with International Business Times. The actress plays a hostess in the movie and in the TV series she plays the character Lulu.

Following the box office success of “Ride Along,” the sequel is to hit theaters on Jan. 15, 2016. Joining the movie this time around is Faulkner, who said it was the biggest movie for her at that time and the opportunity came as a “surprise” to her.

The actress described her experience of filming as “pretty surreal!” “Everyone on set was friendly and went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of,” Faulkner said.

“There weren’t any concerns when I joined. The biggest challenge was coordinating my schedule! Haha. I had just driven back from Miami (where I was cast) to Virginia and I had already booked a trip to Los Angeles for a promotional tour. The dates ended up matching up perfectly, [for] which I am thankful,” she said.

Faulkner teased that “Ride Along 2” had something to offer to all moviegoers. “I would say viewers could expect a mix of humor, action, as well as a serious side,” she said.

As for “Hillbilly Horror Show,” Faulkner said it has received a “great overall response” so far. “Of course, there’s the occasional wife that hates her husband seeing a female lead in revealing clothing, but everyone seems to enjoy the horror shorts that we show as well as the comedic skits Bo [Bo Keister], Cephus [Scot Geiter] and I offer,” she said

Filming for the TV show was also apparently fun for the actress and the fans may get to see some behind-the-scenes footage of the cast “joking around.” “After we wrapped shooting the fourth volume, Bo, Cephus and I shared a few beers and started filming some behind-the-scenes interviews as a joke. We played off on the typical positive responses and starting talking smack about the other characters and crew. Since I was pretty exhausted, I started getting into my element and joking around while making weird noises, as I like to do, and little did I know, they were actually filming me the whole time and it ended up in the behind-the-scenes video,” Faulkner said.

Faulkner enjoys a good rapport with her fellow cast members on the show and is their “big supporter.” “I love that it’s a fun series. We’re able to joke around and improvise off each other’s reactions. We always have a great time and it doesn’t seem like work. Everyone that’s a part of 'Hillbilly Horror Show' is a goofball, and I’m a big supporter of every one of our team members,” she said.

Apart from “Ride Along 2” and “Hillbilly Horror Show,” Faulkner is also in “The Possession Experiment” and “The Nice Guys.” Some of her other projects include “The Right Eye 2” and “Another Brick in the Wall.”
