Radiohead will release its new album The King of Limbs this coming weekend in a digital version available online, the alternative band said on Monday.

It's the British group's first release since their In Rainbows topped the pop charts in January 2008, after the album was initially sold on the Internet under a revolutionary system that allowed buyers to pay whatever price they wanted.

This time, Radiohead has given a set price for its long awaited The King of Limbs. The digital version will cost $9 (6 pounds) for an MP3, and it will be available for download on Saturday, February 19, Radiohead said on its website.

A deluxe edition the band is calling a newspaper album will be shipped to customers on May 9. It comes with two vinyl records, a CD and artwork, at a cost of $48 (30 pounds).

Consumers who download on waveform audio file format (WAV) instead of MP3 will pay an additional $5 (3 pounds).

Radiohead's lead singer Thom Yorke took a break from the band last year to work with his side act Atoms for Peace.
